Core Concepts

Term	Definition
AI (Artificial Intelligence)	Technology designed to simulate human decision-making and problem-solving. It powers tools that can answer questions, recognize patterns, and assist with daily tasks.
ChatGPT	A conversational AI you can type to like a person. It can draft emails, explain ideas in plain language, summarize articles, and answer questions.
Machine Learning (ML)	A method of teaching computers by showing them many examples. Over time, the system “learns” to make better predictions (for example, suggesting movies you might like).
Large Language Model (LLM)	A type of AI trained on billions of words so it can generate and understand text that sounds natural to humans. ChatGPT is one example.
